Music-themed four-star lodging rock ’n rolls into town.
Fort Collins’ only four-star stay has managed to nail the urban-chic vibe while maintaining our beloved city’s kicked-back jeans-and-boots dynamic. The 164-room Elizabeth Hotel—a Marriott Autograph Collection boutique—opened in December to high expectations.
The five-story hub on Old Town’s buzzing northern edge boasts a rooftop cocktail bar with live jazz, Magic Rat (named for Springsteen’s “Jungleland”) venue featuring national and local acts and the Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market where an artisan charcuterie and deli counter share space with a coffee bar and a gift shop stacked with farmstead cheeses, fresh-cut flowers and local specialties.
The adjoining Emporium restaurant packs in fine-diners with locally sourced lamb daube, elk Wellington and a Wagyu burger. Pop by for couch happy hour next to the roll-up garage doors and indulge in an impressive $5 wine and classic cocktail selection and steals on gourmet apps.
The hotel’s music focus flows into guest rooms with record players and vinyl spanning Fleetwood to Chicago and a lobby lending library with thousands of additional titles. Three themed suites include a Music Suite outfitted with a baby grand piano. Guests are invited to check out stringed instruments, keyboards and more.
